If they just keep iterating on Smash for Wii U (which is what Ultimate is), eventually people are going to realize it’s getting stale… kinda like the modern Street Fighter games. An HD re-release with graphical touch would feel pretty weird (even if I personally would love it), but if they wanted to actually go all out and release it more as a “Melee 2,” and add in a bunch of characters but still based on the Melee engine and mechanics… I mean that would actually be an interesting release, would definitely pique People’s interest, while also being a manageable project. 7 days I mostly agree, but depends on how they do it.
